This week's prayer:
Lord, please watch over the various departments in Texas,
as they navigate this flooding.
Give them wisdom, clarity, and peace.
Guide them in protecting all in danger.

Firefighters
Lord God, protect every firefighter as they rush into infernos to rescue people. Give them wisdom and bravery. Ears to hear the cries of the trapped. And grant them peace in the aftermath. In Jesus' Name.
Dear Jesus, please watch over the courageous firefighters serving each and every community of the U.S. Give them strength, calm, and wisdom. Guard their hearts and their minds. In Jesus' Name, amen.
Thank You, Jesus, for our firefighters. Give them peace in the infernos, an internal calm that can only come from You. Give them wisdom; guide them, and protect them. In Your Name.
Lord, we ask You watch over and protect all of the wildland firefighters and smokejumpers. Grant them wisdom, and calm amidst the chaos. Bless them in Jesus’ Name.
